In this recorded webinar, NFID Medical Director William Schaffner, MD, moderates a discussion with Laura H. Bachmann, MD, MPH, Chief Medical Officer of the Division of STD Prevention at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and Margot L. Savoy, MD, MPH, Senior Vice President for Education at the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP).

At the conclusion of the webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Describe best practices to discuss sexual history, assess risk for STIs, and perform screening and diagnostic testing
  • Explain various STI prevention strategies
  • Evaluate STI treatment options
