Routine immunizations have been disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Published data from Avalere Health, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and VaxCare all illustrate a sustained drop in non-COVID vaccines among all age groups. The NFID Keep Up The Rates campaign presents an opportunity to mobilize the healthcare community around the importance of students receiving recommended routine vaccinations.

NFID Medical Director William Schaffner, MD, will moderate the panel discussion with NFID Immediate Past-President Joseph A. Bocchini, Jr., MD, Director of Willis-Knighton Children’s Health Services; Christine J. Liow, MPH, Associate Principal, Avalere Health; and Melinda Wharton, MD, MPH, Director, Immunization Services Division, CDC. Panelists will present data on immunization coverage and discuss strategies to increase rates.

There is no fee to participate in this activity, but pre-registration is required.
