Join the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (NFID) and the American Medical Group Association (AMGA) for a webinar on immunization recommendations and strategies to overcome barriers and improve vaccination rates among healthcare personnel (HCP) in the US.
NFID Medical Director William Schaffner, MD will moderate the webinar with presentations by Ruth M. Carrico, PhD, DNP, FNP-C, CIC, Professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of Louisville School of Medicine; Leon Jerrels, MHA, MBA, RN, CPHQ, Director of Quality Improvement at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, representing AMGA; and NFID President-Elect Patricia A. Stinchfield, RN, MS, CPNP.
At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Summarize current US immunization recommendations and current vaccination rates among HCP in the US
- Explain issues, challenges, and opportunities that may impact HCP immunization acceptance
- Discuss practical strategies to increase HCP immunization rates in various healthcare settings
