In this recorded webinar, NFID Medical Director William Schaffner, MD, moderates the discussion with Captain Agam Rao, MD, Medical Officer, in the Poxvirus and Rabies Branch, National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Recognize signs and symptoms of monkeypox
  • Describe strategies for diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of monkeypox in the US
  • Communicate the importance of monkeypox awareness regarding short and long-term impacts of infection in the US
